Bobcat Is Ahead of Schedule as it's Set to Deliver Miners to North America, Europe, and China

In addition to delivering its second batch of orders to China, Bobcat will begin shipping its first batch of orders to North America and Europe. A total of 2000 units for all three regions have already rolled off the production line and ready to be shipped across the world. These orders were made during the first week of the official website launch on Mar 3, 2021, and through partnership platforms in China. Presently, these units will ship during the last week of April and will leave the distribution center just ahead of a 5-day public holiday commencing on 5/1, which slows down production and distribution in China.

Against the backdrop of a severe global shortage of electronic components, Bobcat was able to fulfill orders just ahead of the estimated 8-week shipping timeline. This delivery comes on the heels of making a difficult decision regarding PayPal's unusually long settlement cycle, where payments from these batches will not be released until a few months after the products are shipped.

Traditional payment aggregators consider the pre-order sales model adopted by Bobcat and other vendors to be highly volatile. Thus, in an attempt to protect themselves from chargebacks, they will hold onto customer payments for an extended period even after products are shipped. In many cases, this severely compromises a manufacturer's ability to optimize and can sometimes hinder them from being able to fulfill their orders on time. Fortunately, equipped with a healthy manufacturing infrastructure and strong supplier ties, Bobcat has managed to overcome these potential setbacks and has made the necessary adjustments to honor their shipping promise of first come first served. While Bobcat will continue to strive to make improvements to its shipping timeline, the official 8-12 week lead time on all orders remains unchanged. In the past week, many early bobcat-adopters expressed their full support and complete trust in Bobcat by accepting a full refund from PayPal and resubmitting their payment via crypto. As a token of gratitude, their orders will be added to this first batch and Bobcat will express their appreciation to them with a special announcement. For European and North American orders made through the website, the cutoff batch order number is 10195. Shipping dates for subsequent batches will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
